After a 10-year absence from the market, Dutch Passion is excited to announce the return of the Night Queen strain. In the 1980s, Night Queen was a classic plant for Dutch Passion, even before the company officially became a seed seller. In the 1987 catalog, Night Queen was described as an Afghan indica with broad leaves, popular among avid marijuana smokers for its intense effects. In 1997, Dutch Passion updated Night Queen, but sales plummeted as people began to buy newer strains and hybrids that were emerging at the time. Reluctantly, the Dutch removed Night Queen from their lineup.
Since then, they have received numerous requests to bring back Night Queen, and they finally decided to do so. Their goal was to recreate an indica that meets global quality standards, similar to one of their most acclaimed strains, Mazar. Thus, Dutch Passion created a fast-flowering strain that is a true indica. The new Night Queen is easy to grow and exhibits high resistance to pests and mold. Additionally, Night Queen can easily become an excellent mother plant from which to take cuttings.
The plant has a compact height, making it ideal for indoor cultivation and for growers using Sea of Green or Screen of Green methods. The name of the strain is fitting, as most plants exhibit a dark green, almost black coloration. The female plants are exceptionally beautiful, with dense, hard buds that yield very high harvests. True queens indeed. This strain is an excellent choice for those cultivating marijuana for medical purposes, thanks to its high levels of THC and CBD. Moreover, it is a highly productive plant, with yields exceeding 500 g/m² under optimal conditions.
