Black Russian seeds are the result of crossing two legendary indicas with powerful medicinal effects — White Russian and Black Domina. The result is a true gem, widely cultivated and loved throughout Spain. It’s a very easy-to-grow strain, with flowering beginning smoothly, without explosive growth, allowing for timely reactions to any issues.

Medicinal indica for indoor and outdoor growing

Black Russian grows quickly but doesn’t stretch much in height. Indoors, its height typically stays around 60-70 cm, while outdoors it can reach 150 cm. The flowering time is typical for indica, taking about 50-55 days. At the same time, yields can reach up to 500 g/m² indoors, and outdoors up to 900 grams per plant, depending on the climate and how the vegetative stage was managed.

Easy-care, compact strain

The plant is compact but very bushy, which makes it one of the highest-yielding indicas. It produces a large number of very dense buds. A distinctive feature of Black Russian is the small amount of foliage on the branches and between the buds. Thanks to this, the strain is very easy to care for and harvest, especially outdoors. The resin gives off a fruity scent with citrus and earthy notes (thanks to its Afghan roots). The taste is richer than the aroma, very sweet and citrusy, resembling a fruit salad with lemon juice.

Strain for long-term therapy

The effect is typical of indica — relaxing and long-lasting, which makes it perfect for medicinal use. It also kicks in quickly — you’ll notice the changes immediately after inhaling, whether you’re using a vaporizer or smoking. Tolerance to Black Russian’s effect develops slowly, making it suitable for long-term therapy with regular use. It works well for chronic and other types of pain.
