A Strain for Large Productions and Medical Purposes

The new strain from Delicious Seeds, Descojack seeds, is the result of crossing Unknown Kush with Jack Herer. The former is a 21-time international cup winner, a descendant of the legendary Californian sativa and the 2011 Cannabis Cup champion, Bay11. The latter is one of the most popular and cultivated genetics, dating back to the 90s. The goal of this combination was to preserve the distinctive aroma of Jack Herer while adding lemony, metallic notes from Kush. Additionally, the overall genetics have become more stable and productive. This strain is designed to meet the needs of both large-scale producers and medical growers.

A Fast and High-Yielding Sativa Hybrid

As a sativa-dominant hybrid, Descojack stands out with its very short flowering time—just 10 weeks. When grown outdoors in a warm climate, it is ready for harvest by mid-October. The flowers of this strain produce a large amount of trichomes, fully saturated with resin. It’s excellent for making hashish and concentrates. Indoors, the expected yield is 500-600 g/m², while outdoors it can exceed 1000 grams per plant.

A True Giant in the Open Ground

Given that the sativa genes in Descojack dominate (60:40 sativa to indica ratio), it develops a structure typical of this type. However, uncontrolled growth will not be a problem indoors, where Descojack usually reaches about 1 meter. It will fully reveal its potential outdoors, where it can grow up to 3.5 meters in just 5 months! During growth, it exudes the aromas of the Herer and Kush families. After curing, these blend into a complex, rich bouquet. You’ll recognize notes of exotic wood, a hint of acidity, and a metallic-lemon undertone.
