To develop it, the Spaniards used a male plant that was a parent of the well-known Desconocida Kush, crossing it with a regular Jack Herer clone. The strain then underwent several stages of backcrossing to stabilize the plant and improve its quality. The result satisfied the Delicious Seeds team and seemed worthy of bearing Original Juan's name.
